My graphic novel photograph 'Source of Emotion' has now travelled to the Curve Theatre Gallery in Leicester as part of the touring 'Web of Water' exhibition. A few of the artists who are exhibiting will be doing an artist talk about their inspirations for this exhibition, myself included.. I look forward to be part of this which also makes part of 'Indian Summer' throughout Leicester centre..
Today, I did a lovely bike ride to Wollaton Park and have found a lovely area that is wonderful right now in midsummer, that I plan to go back to and photograph, maybe with a subject, maybe self portrait, maybe just nature.. it's good to know the creativity is flowing...
I have donated, alongside many other artists, one of my images - TreeWater, for the Nottingham Silent Auction in aid of local food banks. It is astounding and a general sign of our times when people need to use food banks, especially in a country such as the UK - being one of the wealthiest in the world, food banks don't sit right in my heart or mind but if I can do a little to help, then I am happy to be part of this. I look forward to view all the artworks that are on display for a a short period of time at the Crafty Sparrow, Castle Gate, Nottm.
I have recently been experimenting yet again with mood and atmosphere, I aim to work on many more of these photographs towards a series but here is a little taster of what I have captured thus far.
