I have just spent a wonderful 10 days in South Spain - the Andalucia area of Spain, with its white Pueblo Blancos. These places have a magical attraction and charm. There is still a slow pace of life in some of these smaller villages that appeals to my senses very much. I am lucky that a dear friend lets me stay in her home out in one of these villages, high up in the mountains, with the closest large town being Ronda.
I took things very easy during this time away in Spain.. in the spanish way 'Tranquillo'. I swam, photographed nature, my son and a few village happenings, walked in the hills, ate tapas, drank Rioja and fell in love with a lonesome horse out on a finca. My urge to photograph was always there alongwith my urge to live a simple life with nature, which grows stronger and stronger each passing year. A few photographs from this place * Falling in love with a lonesome horse out on a finca on the hill path.. *Hill Path *A rare photograph of me swimming in the lovely river at the foot of the mountains, taken by my 15 year old son.
