Having communicated with the lovely Tim Andrews again, we have set a photo shoot for May in London as part of his art project. I must say I am extremely excited about this project and our shoot but also meeting and finding out a little more about Tim and his life/Parkinson's Disease. It is not very often that you get asked by someone like this to photograph them so in many ways, I feel both humbled and honoured.
I have decided to be an Associate Member of Backlit Gallery in Nottingham. The gallery and studios hold a special place in my heart because it was the first venue where I was chosen to exhibit some of my photographs as part of the Illuminate - Crop Up Gallery project, very early on in my photography path. I look forward to be around a creative and vibrant community of artists on a regular basis. The Web of Water Exhibition that myself and other artists are exhibiting with moves to Carsington Water May 23rd.. I look forward to the next venue and open of the exhibition.. watch this space. One last thought, I have been searching for porcelain dolls for some time, yesterday I was lucky to have stumbled on a little beauty standing in the second hand charity shop.. she is going to hopefully enjoy her new life as a part time model for my projects and creativity!
